Housework will never be the same again after the Bliss Bombs perform at Taradale Hall.
This troupe of comedy burlesque performers reveal the sexy side of cleaning and cooking and dish up a feast of cabaret song, dance and tease with their latest show, Domestic Bliss. The Bliss Bombs troupe have been wowing audiences for the past 5 years in venues around Daylesford, Maldon and Castlemaine. Said to be the funniest sexy women this side of the Great Dividing Range, these smouldering sirens of the Central Highlands perform tongue-‐in-‐ cheeky song and dance with a certain penchant for retro, vintage and classic costume styles.
According to a review by Weekend Notes the Bliss Bombs are “Tantalising …. these women are comic geniuses…. there wasn’t a man or woman in the audience who wasn’t totally blown away by their performance.”
Members of Bliss Bombs Burlesque have various backgrounds in drama, dance, singing, song writing, improvisation, and the visual arts. Their solo acts range from the sublime to the ridiculous and their group performances are always energetic with a hint of feminist swagger and good humour.
Bliss Bombs’ director Bella Puckerlips, said “ We love performing in intimate venues like the Taradale Hall. There’s a wonderful close rapport with the audience and lots of banter and laughter.
It’s always a fun night.”
