The Taradale Community Forum is a working group comprised of local residents and representatives from the various community groups in Taradale. The forum is an opportunity for local groups and individuals to share their activities and ideas with each and to coordinate projects for the town including street plantings, fund raising and most recently the development of the Taradale Community Plan (link to plan doc).
The Taradale Community Plan maps out a vision for the future of our town and was developed following extensive consultation with community groups and individual residents. The plan reflects the many interests and aspirations of the township and will be used as a guide to ensure the development of Taradale reflects the wishes of residents. The plan identifies several key projects to be undertaken which are either underway or planned for the future. Any residents who would like to participate in any capacity in the implementation of the plan can contact the Community Forum or the individual groups managing each project to offer their assistance which will be warmly welcomed.
Taradale Community Forum meetings are open to all residents who are invited to attend and contribute their ideas, suggestions and vision for the advancement of our town. Meetings are held regularly and are advertised in the Taradale Talk and on the community noticeboard.
